1. The Competition

The Golden Trade Challenge 2026 ("the Competition") is a skill-based trading prediction tournament operated by Golden Trade ("we", "us", "the Organiser"). It is a prize competition under UK law and is not gambling.

The Competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom and the European Union who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

2. Entry

• Each entry costs £25, payable by card via Stripe.
• A maximum of 5 entries per person are permitted per tournament.
• Each entry consists of trades (BUY or SELL) across a curated list of assets. Each trade can be scheduled for a specific date.
• Entries are final once payment is confirmed. No refunds will be issued after an entry has been activated.
• Asset prices are recorded at the time of entry submission.

3. Settlement & Scoring

At the settlement date and time specified for the tournament (typically 16:00 UTC), closing prices are recorded for all assets. Each trade's return is calculated as:

Return = Direction × ((Closing Price − Entry Price) ÷ Entry Price)

where Direction is +1 for BUY and −1 for SELL. The average percentage return across all trades determines the entry's rank.

4. Prize

• The prize is one troy ounce gold coin, awarded to the participant with the highest aggregate return at settlement.
• The gold coin will be delivered to the winner by insured post or available for collection, as agreed with the Organiser.
• If delivery is not possible, an equivalent cash value (based on the London gold fix at settlement) may be offered at the Organiser's discretion.
• The winner will be notified by email within 48 hours of settlement.

5. Fair Play

• Multiple accounts per person are prohibited. We reserve the right to disqualify entries from duplicate accounts.
• Any attempt to manipulate outcomes, exploit system vulnerabilities, or collude with other participants will result in disqualification and forfeiture of fees.
• Our decisions on scoring, ranking, and disqualification are final.

6. Data & Privacy

We collect your email address, name (optional), and country for the purposes of operating the Competition. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; we do not store card details.

We will not share your personal data with third parties except as required to operate the Competition or as required by law.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Competition is provided "as is". We are not liable for losses arising from price feed interruptions, technical failures, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In any event, our total liability is limited to the entry fees paid by the affected participant.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered participants. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
